Buttermilk Syrup
2 cubes butter
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
Melt butter then add sugar and buttermilk. Boil for 2 minutes, remove from heat and add 1 tsp. baking soda and at least 2 tsp. vanilla.
Saves good in fridge for 3 weeks.
